Welcome to the inaugural issue of the International Journal of Whole Schooling! It is my pleasure to initiate this Journal with a discussion of what has led us here, the idea of creating schools that are more effective, engaging, joyful places of growth and development for our children. This Journal is, we believe, a tool for dialogue, thinking, reflection, learning, and, ultimately and most importantly, change. In this short article, I would like to introduce the focus of this Journal and it's role within: to work towards positive change in schooling.
